Weight Watchers Points is a simple and effective weight loss system.
With the Weight Watchers Points System you do not have to worry
about counting calories. The system assigns a number of points to
different foods based on the amount of fat, fibre and calories the
food contain. You are given a certain number of points (based on
your weight and age) that you are allowed to consume each day. You
can eat everything you want, as long as you stay within the daily
point limit. You can even save up "Points" to use for a big event
such as upcoming holiday party in the week.
How Weight Watchers Points Work
For instance, a person weight between 150 and 174 pounds are given
20 to 27 points per day. Depending on your weight you can have a few
more or less points to spend per day. Weight Watchers Points System
works very effective because once you begin to lose weight, you will
drop into a lower weight category and thus, you will have less point
to spend. The less points you eat, the fewer calories you are
getting, and the more weight you lose. Following is the points
recommended for people with different weight category.
Less than 150 lbs = 18 to 25 Points
150 lbs to 174 lbs = 20 to 27 Points
175 lbs to 199 lbs = 22 to 29 Points
200 lsb to 224 lbs = 24 to 31 Points
225 lbs to 250 lbs = 26 to 33 Points
Over 250 lbs = 28 to 35 Points
